In spite of the drizzle Troop 150 led the Annual Annandale Parade on Saturday, October 24th. Then it was off to Camp Snyder for the fun, competition and learning for the Old Dominion District’s Fall Camporee at Camp Snyder, Haymarket, VA. Troop 150 won the price for the best decorated campsite. |

It was a great hike today. We met at the Great Falls Tavern on the Maryland side of the river and saw the spectacular falls. We picked up several Webelos and Parents from Vienna along the way who's Scout troop didn't show up, and they hiked with us. At the half way point two scouts showed how to lay a fire and let a visiting Webelos light the fire. We dined on roasted hot dogs and, then returned and visited the museum before returning home.
